Seit meiner Kindheit werde ich melancholisch, wenn ich an das Leben \u00c4lterer denke. Ihre Vergangenheit. Ihre monotone Gegenwart und vor allem ihre Zukunftsbestreben. Was kann eine \u00e4ltere Person erwarten? Ab wann ist man ein \u00e4lterer Mensch? Und vor allem, wenn ich schon Angst vorm Sterben habe, was muss man dann im Alter, deutlich n\u00e4her am Tod, empfinden? Nach famili\u00e4ren Geldstreitigkeiten brachte mir die Zeit meine Tante Flora in einem Moment zur\u00fcck, in dem ich selbst voller existentieller Zweifel steckte. Ich begann sie zu filmen und entdeckte dabei, dass Flora nicht einfach ein normales Leben f\u00fchrte, sondern dass sie seit langem in den Tod \u00fcberging. Dieser Dokumentarfilm spricht \u00fcber den Tod im Leben, \u00fcber Herzen, die erl\u00f6schen, wenn das Bewusstsein noch wach ist. Er spricht \u00fcber den Versuch, meine eigenen W\u00fcnsche zu formulieren, auch wenn ich daf\u00fcr meine pers\u00f6nliche Misere zur Schau stellen muss.
