The first invasion
Buenos Aires – Berlin
In September 2014, Argentine culture — led by cinema — visited the German capital. Starting from ten films, cultural activities took place across the city for an entire month.
For one month, different art forms intersected, amplified one another and produced multiple unexpected connections: a current and dynamic panorama of contemporary Argentine culture.
Through the work of more than 40 artists, Berliners could experience the richness of today's cultural expression: concerts, performances, exhibitions, readings and food tastings — marking 20 years of the Buenos Aires–Berlin city partnership.
