About the 2016 Edition
For a week, INVASION presents films that are very diverse from one another, but that share a common goal: to challenge the viewer, to invite him or her to try to define what he or she is seeing. In this third edition, two strong points stand out in the programme: the remarkable and multiple female presence, both behind and in front of the camera; and the personal approach – formal or content – of several of the films to the classic genres.

INVASION, in collaboration with the Goethe Institut and the Sala Leopoldo Lugones – TGSM, presents from Wednesday 22 to Sunday 26 June 2016, a series of five films by one of the most important directors in German cinema today, never shown in Argentina before.
In addition, Schanelec will be in Buenos Aires to personally present her work and give two public talks.
